If, like me, you lack the motivation or foresight to plan a Halloween costume in advance, the following last minute ideas, one of which requires little more than a pair of tube socks, might be of service. Of course committing to heavy costume makeup means having to wash it all off at some point, or risk waking up with paint-smeared pillows and bad skin. M.A.C Cleanse Off Oil: A makeup artist essential, this extra-strength oil even lifts waterproof pigments without irritating skin. Massage it all over and rinse. Saturate a cotton pad (or several) and wipe. Either way works, but if you're breakout prone, follow with a gentle toner to remove excess oil.
